For the past 30 years, Aleksandra Szlezyngier has worked in massage, specialising in reflexology. She sees patients at The Red Door Clinic in Mellieħa. The published list places 45-minute full body massage at €60, one-hour full body massage at €75, and one-hour reflexology at €60 with her.
THE PERSON
Aleksandra's story
Aleksandra Szlezyngier is the clinic’s reflexologist. Massage is not a sideline she added later. For the past 30 years she has worked in the field of massage, and reflexology is the specialism she chose to go deep on.
She honed her skills under the guidance of masters in this field both in Poland and abroad. That is the training story the clinic has published. Named schools and certificate titles are not on this page.
Massage is not just her passion. It is her way to improve the health and well-being of her clients. With her knowledge and experience, she knows how to help the body regain balance and vitality. That is her own description of the work, and it is the standard this page keeps to.
THIRTY YEARS
30 years in massage and reflexology
Thirty years is long enough to have seen fashions in massage come and go. Aleksandra’s published focus stayed on reflexology, learned from masters in Poland and abroad, and practised as a way to support balance and vitality rather than as a single technique performed the same way every time.
Specialising in reflexology
Specialising means reflexology is the appointment to ask her for first. She also offers the massage sessions on the published price list. If you are unsure which you need, describe what you want from the hour and she, or the clinic desk, can point you to the right booking.

Treatments with Aleksandra
Say whether you are asking for reflexology or for massage. They are different appointments, even when the same therapist can offer both. Fees below are the ones the clinic has published for work with Aleksandra.
Reflexology
One-hour reflexology is €60. Reflexology works with the feet as the focus of the session. Tell her about pregnancy, medical treatment, wounds on the feet, or anything that makes pressure on the feet a poor idea.
Foot massage
A foot-focused massage is not automatically the same booking as reflexology. If you want attention to tired feet rather than a reflexology session, say that in the enquiry.
HOW SHE WORKS
Her approach: balance and vitality
Balance and vitality are the words Aleksandra uses. They describe an aim, not a guaranteed medical outcome. Reflexology and massage at the clinic are not a substitute for a physiotherapy assessment when the story is a new injury, unexplained pain, or a change after sport or work.
Before a session, say where you feel tension, any injury, and the pressure you prefer. You can change that during the appointment. If you are also seeing Andrew for physiotherapy, tell both of them so the visits do not work against each other.
