Lomi Lomi Nui
Lomi Lomi Nui uses long, flowing movements, often performed with the forearms. The continuous rhythm can feel like the gentle movement of ocean waves, encouraging the body and mind to slow down and deeply relax.
THE RED DOOR CLINIC · MELLIEĦA
Trained in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui, with a warm, client-centred approach to bodywork.

Dagmara Zaczeniuk is a massage therapist at The Red Door Clinic in Mellieħa. After a Bachelor’s degree in Education, specialising in Social Work, she trained in Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Nui and built a client-centred approach to bodywork. Ask for her by name when you enquire.
THE PERSON
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Education, specialising in Social Work, Dagmara Zaczeniuk discovered the art of Hawaiian massage, Lomi Lomi Nui, and quickly developed a deep passion for therapeutic bodywork. The degree is part of her story. It is not presented here as a massage qualification.
Originally from Poland, Dagmara moved to Malta with a strong desire to support people’s wellbeing and help them feel more comfortable, relaxed and connected to their bodies. She brings warmth, professionalism and genuine care to every treatment at The Red Door Clinic.
BEFORE BODYWORK
A background in education and social work is about people, not strokes. Dagmara carried that into bodywork: the person on the table is not a set of tight muscles to be worked through on a timer. She wants clients to feel more comfortable, relaxed and connected to their bodies.
If you are nervous about massage, say so when you book. Warmth and professionalism are how she has described her manner. You can ask her to explain what she is about to do, and you can stop or change pressure at any point.
THE METHOD
Dagmara completed professional training in Lomi Lomi Nui massage and, through experience and continued practice, developed her own distinctive approach to bodywork.
Her treatments combine the flowing movements and traditional principles of Lomi Lomi Nui with a practical, client-centred approach. The focus is relaxation, releasing tension, and restoring a sense of balance in the body. That combination is the treatment to ask for by name.
APPOINTMENTS
Ask for Dagmara Zaczeniuk and name the style you want. A new or unexplained injury should be discussed with the physiotherapist first. Massage is not a diagnosis.
Lomi Lomi Nui uses long, flowing movements, often performed with the forearms. The continuous rhythm can feel like the gentle movement of ocean waves, encouraging the body and mind to slow down and deeply relax.
She also works as a massage therapist beyond a single named style, with the same aim: releasing tension and restoring a sense of balance. Tell her where you feel tension, any injury, and the pressure you prefer.
WHY IT MATTERS TO HER
She is particularly passionate about the holistic benefits of massage. Lomi Lomi Nui works not only with the body, but can also support relaxation of the nervous system and emotional wellbeing. That is a description of intent. It is not a claim that a session treats a mental health condition or replaces medical care.
The long, flowing movements create a rhythm that asks the body and mind to slow down. If you need a quiet hour rather than a sports-massage session aimed at training load, say that. If you need an assessment of pain that is new, spreading or unexplained, book physiotherapy with Andrew instead, or ask the desk which comes first.
